Visit Copacabana and the beautiful Sun Island, spend one night on the Sun Island and watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise. The second night you stay in town instead and enjoy a bit of the night life in Copacabana. In this tour you have a chance to trek through the south part of the Island and the Inca steps and Inca Fountain and then go over to the North end of the Island.

Pick ups between 6:30 and 7:00 am from hotels in the central downtown area.  Arrival to Copacabana at 11 am approximately, visit town and then have lunch, afterwards take a boat over to the Sun Island, visit the Inca Steps, and go up to the town of Yumani, watch the sunset and have dinner, spend the night on the Island and next day after breakfast do a long trek towards the north part of the Sun Island, after lunch head back to Yumani and then take the boat back to Copacabana, check into your hotel, have dinner and have the night to check out the night life in town.  Third day after breakfast go visit the Calvary where you will be able to see the interesting mix between the catholic religion and the local religions and after lunch return to La Paz. When you arrive the guide will help you get a cab back to your hotel.

Visit the town of Coroico, fruit plantations, waterfalls, coffee plantations, the main square, church and all the beautiful spots of this amazing town in the tropical area of La Paz. Enjoy the change in scenery from the amazing snow capped mountains into the green, thick forest of the Yungas, doorway to the Amazon.

Depart from La Paz at around 9 am, drive towards the highest point of the road, called LA CUMBRE at 4700 meters above sea level, this is the spot where the bikers begin the death road ride.  From here start the road downhill, you will reach the spot where the road divides into the new road and the death road, here you can stop and take some pictures, keep going down till you reach the town of Yolosa at 1200 meters above sea level and from there go uphill towards the town of Coroico, which is at 1780 meters above sea level.  Here you will have lunch and visit the church and the main square of Coroico, afterwards go to visit the waterfalls and see along the way all sorts of plantations (most of our fruits come from that area).  Afterwards start the way back to La Paz, arrive back to your hotel at 7 pm approximately.

Rurrenabaque is located 229 meters. Above sea level, 400 km north of the city of La Paz. It is the door to the Bolivian Amazon that is characterized by its humid and warm climate. From Rurrenabaque you have access to two important protected areas, where our programs are carried out in the jungle and pampas: Madidi National Park, one of the most biodiverse parks in the world and the Municipal Reserve of the Pampas del Río Yacuma, which is characterized by its great density of wildlife that is very easy to observe from the boats.

DAY 1. La Paz - Rurrenabaque.
In the early morning approximately 7:00 am (according to flight itinerary) our professional English speaking guide will pick you up from your Hotel in La Paz on your private mobility for the transfer to the airport and board the flight to Rurrenabaque.
After a 1 hour flight, our local operator will be waiting for you in the airport to transfer you in your private mobility from Rurrenabaque to Santa Rosa del Yacuma. After 3 hours we arrive at our Caracoles Hostel, (ecological lodge where you will have a room with private bathroom) next to the Yacuma River.
We enjoy our local lunch and have free time to rest in hammocks enjoying landscapes of the wild Amazon.
In the afternoon, we start our tour by private boat with bilingual local guide to observe the wildlife: alligators, turtles, capybaras, pink dolphins, different species of monkeys and countless bird species.
We returned to our lodge to enjoy our dinner and we prepared to continue the boat ride to focus the eyes of lizards with a flashlight.

DAY 2. Rurrenabaque - La Paz.
After our local breakfast,
In the morning, we sail along the Yacuma River to observe yellow monkeys or chichilos. which are wild species of the native fauna of the place.
After lunch, return by Jeep to Rurrenabaque, to head towards the airport and board our flight back to La Paz.
After an hour of flight we arrive to La Paz where our private guide awaits us to move to the place of his preference.

We will observe the Ollagüe Volcano, it has smoke near the top because is an active volcano. Arrival to San Pedro de Quemes for lunch, close to the restaurant it is located the Burned Town.
Inside the magnificent Salar de Uyuni we will drive towards Incahuasi Island located 102 Km. from Uyuni village.
We continue our trip driving north entering the magnificent Salar de Uyuni and head towards the hotel for overnight, Hotel Tayka de Sal at the village of Tahua.

At 8 a.m. we start the drive up to the Thunupa Volcano, then after a 2 hours trek we can observe from the “Mirador Colorado” the “Ruta Intersalar”: Salar de Coipasa, Salar de Empexa and the majestic Salar de Uyuni, which can be seen with all its splendor.
Then we are back to the beautiful Salar to take beautiful pictures. Later arrival at the Playa Blanca Hotel, then we will observe the “Ojos de Agua” (Water Eyes). Finally, we arrive to Colchani whose residents extract the salt using rudimentary tools such as a pick and shovels and later continue to the Train Cemetery (also called Train Graveyard).
